FOCUS Juridisch Vertaalbureau has been a partner in language for notaries, lawyers, international companies and intermediaries such as publishers and marketing companies since 1994.
FOCUS Vertaalbureau is headed by Willem Ezerman and is based in Beverwijk.

With a team of 65 (sworn) translators, 60 sworn interpreters and 8 permanent language trainers, we are able to deliver what you need, even in case of last-minute requests.

Practical as I am, I specialised in educational science and translation science while studying English at the Free University of Amsterdam. Since 1994, I have been working professionally as an English translator and editor. In my early years, I did a lot of medical-pharmaceutical translations, but over time I found that I liked legal and business content much more, and these are now – together with technical and medical - the subjects for which FOCUS Translation Agency is known.
Over the years, at the request of its clients, FOCUS Translation Agency has added business language training and interpreting services to its range of services, and expanded its translation services from Dutch >< English only to multilingual.
Currently, the team consists of a group of over 65 specialised, mostly sworn translators and over 60 sworn interpreters, and we cover more than 30 languages (Dutch > < foreign language).
And it works, because we regularly receive compliments from clients that our work brings significant added value, as our work enables our clients to serve their internationally operating clients optimally, to collaborate better with suppliers, and to communicate with their own multilingual staff more effectively."
